Policy rate forecast for March

Íslandsbanki Research has issued an new policy rate forecast. The highlights are:

• Rate cuts of 0.25-0.50 percentage points expected this week
• Policy rate 6.0-6.5% at year-end 
• The forecast assumes continuing ISK stability, rapid disinflation and a resolution of the Icesave dispute in coming weeks.
